You may have fundraising experience, or are keen to develop your experience working in a small charity, making a large impact in its local community.
The charity has two core service elements, Citizens Advice Elmbridge West and North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service and the geographical areas they service are different. Citizens Advice Elmbridge West supports the residents of West Elmbridge, Surrey, which includes the towns Weybridge, Walton on Thames, Hersham and the surrounding areas. North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service supports the residents of the following boroughs in Surrey; Elmbridge, Spelthorne and Epsom and Ewell. Our main offices are in Walton on Thames. This volunteer role can largely be based at home, with some flexibility for visiting the office in Walton on Thames for meetings.
A Flexible Voluntary Role
With ambition to extend accessibility to our services, further supporting our local community, we are placing more focus on developing new income streams for our charity. This volunteer role provides a great opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of charity fundraising. As a part of the fundraising team, you will be involved in planning and delivering community fundraising events for a local charity. There is also an opportunity to support the development of a new corporate and ambassadors programme we are looking to launch in the future.
*This is a flexible role and the work can be largely done at home or at our offices in Walton on Thames, whatever suits you best! We are looking for a 2 to 4hrs commitment, but can been flexible around other outside commitments. (e.g. around school holidays.)
