Sarah has lived nearly all her life in Elmbridge. She worked for 30 years in senior management in the finance sector. Since retiring 5 years ago Sarah has achieved a Masters in Occupational and Business Psychology, specialising in 'How to build resilience in special needs teachers'. Sarah is qualified in building psychological resilience and coaching. Sarah is Vice Chair for 2 local special needs schools, is Chair of Citizens Advice Elmbridge West and is a JP.

Linda is a business psychologist and executive coach who works extensively with clients in the public, private and not for profit sectors. Linda has more than 20 years’ experience of supporting leaders and leadership teams in implementing change and finding ways to work together more effectively. She also brings experience of leading HR functions for a number of different organisations both within the local area and abroad. Linda is committed to helping leaders fulfil their potential both personally and in terms of what they deliver within organisations. Linda has lived and worked from Elmbridge and the local area for the majority of the past decade. She became a Trustee of CAEW because she has seen the excellent work carried out by the service and how local families have benefitted from it. Since joining the board Linda has been continually impressed by the dedication and commitment of the staff and volunteers to provide an excellent service that is continually adapting to the needs of the local population.

Thomas was appointed in October 2019 upon taking early retirement having lived in Elmbridge for over 40 years. He is a Charted Management Accountant and has spent most of his working life in SME companies in Finance Director roles. His interests are traveling, sailing, and spending time with his family.

Terence was appointed trustee back in October 2003 when CAE(W) needed some accounting and company secretarial help and became chair in October 2019 just before life changed. As well as being committed to furthering the work of the LCA in the domestic abuse sector, Terence helps in the finance area due to his chartered accountancy background. Spare times sees him drooling over his interests in classic cars, most of which are out of reach, and occasional forays to the golf course to get good exercise.

Darrell is a retired IT Project and Services Manager with thirty five years professional experience. He has worked at a number of global organisations across the Banking, Pharmaceutical, and Petrochemical industries, specialising in cloud services and video conferencing. He lives in the borough and is married with grown up children.

Kathryn is currently Client Engagement Director with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®), a top-ranked, global provider of executive education that develops better leaders through its exclusive focus on leadership education and research. She has 20+ years in the leadership, organisation and talent development field including general management experience. She is a professional leadership coach and is dedicated to helping leaders fulfil their potential. Kathryn has been a Trustee with Elmbridge West since 2020 and is passionate about ensuring independent and impartial advice can be accessed by all when in need. Kathryn has been an Elmbridge resident for 16 years and lives with her husband in Walton-on-Thames. She is happiest when outdoors and enjoys sailing, rowing and horse riding.

David Walker-Smith

David is a lawyer by training and a banker by profession. His home has been in Elmbridge for the last 40 years, but his work has taken him across the world where he witnessed extreme levels of poverty and deprivation in developing countries. For over three decades he has led large teams of widely diverse people, giving him a passion for the power and richness of diversity in organizations. He is married with three grown-up children and enjoys photography, political conversation, and country dog-walking.

Natasha was appointed as a trustee in 2022. She is a chartered accountant and has spent the last 15 years working in finance, strategic and transformation roles in both the public and private sector. She has admired the work of Citizens Advice for many years and is passionate about ensuring that the local community is able to access the advice that they need for many years to come.
