Weybridge 10k is a popular local road running race, taking place on closed roads on 23rd June 2019. We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Weybridge 10K as one of their charity partners for this year’s race.
Connecting with the Community
Our advice service is all about supporting people in our local community and we are continuously looking at ways to improve our accessibility, so it’s great to be part of such a key local sporting community event this summer. The charity partnership creates an opportunity to connect with new audiences in the local community, grow awareness and improve the accessibility of the advice service, gain supporters and ultimately helping more people to solve the problems they are facing in life.
Citizens Advice Elmbridge West supports about 4000 clients a year serving the communities of Weybridge, Hersham and Walton on Thames and surrounding areas. Advice is given for problems relating to; benefits, debt, employment, housing, discrimination, immigration, nationality, family, personal or consumer issues.
Support our team!
We will be fielding a team of 10 runners for this years event, running to raise vital funds for North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (managed by Citizens Advice Elmbridge West.) We are looking to raise a minimum of £2000. These funds will be used to support services provided by North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service helping children living in Elmbridge to recover from witnessing or experiencing domestic abuse.
